Howa HMFN6ARCHBGL 1500 Fence Line 6mm ARC 5+1 20″ Tungsten Cerakote Threaded Barrel, Tungsten Cerakote Aluminum Drilled & Tapped Receiver, Gray Light Camo Fixed Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Howa 1500 Fence Line is a bolt action rifle in 6mm ARC with a 20" barrel, a 1:7.5 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 6mm ARC is commonly chosen for target shooting and medium game. Designed for efficiency and long-range performance from a short action.

At the foundation of the Fence Line Series lies the Howa 1500 barreled action. Crafted in Japan by Howa Machinery with over a century of firearms heritage. Featuring a sub-MOA accuracy (guaranteed 1" or better at 100 yards); hammer-forged, threaded barrel; HACT two-stage trigger; 90-degree bolt throw ensures smooth, reliable cycling with dual locking lugs and a spring-loaded M16-style extractor; 3 Position safety.
