Description
The Magpul Industries Sling Swivel is a rifle sling.
A sling carries the rifle and, braced against the arm, steadies it. The number of attachment points changes how it carries and how quickly the rifle comes up. A one-point clips to a single mount near the receiver: the rifle hangs muzzle-down, swings free and switches shoulders easily, but it also swings into you when both hands come off. A two-point runs from the fore-end to the stock, carries across the back or chest for walking and working, and can be cinched short to brace the rifle for a steadier shot. A three-point adds a wrap around the body so the rifle stays pinned when your hands are off it, at the cost of more webbing to manage and a slower transition.
It uses quick-detach swivels, which push into a QD socket and release with a button – so the sling comes off without unthreading anything.
Check what your rifle offers for attachment. QD sockets, sling studs, loops and M-LOK slots all need different hardware, and a sling is only as usable as the mounts it can reach.
