The Magpul Industries 10/22 Takedown is a buttstock, in o.d. green.
An AR buttstock slides onto the buffer tube at the back of the lower receiver and locks at one of the tube's positions, which is how length of pull is adjusted for different shooters and for shooting in body armour.
Check which buffer tube you have. Mil-spec tubes measure about 1.148 inches across the outside and commercial tubes about 1.17 inches – a stock cut for one is either loose or will not go on the other. Mil-spec is the more common of the two.
