Description
The MDT Chassis Tikka T3X is a rifle chassis for the Tikka T3x.
A chassis replaces the rifle's stock entirely. The barrelled action sits in a machined aluminium spine rather than being bedded into wood or polymer, and the grip, forend and buttstock bolt to that spine – so the parts that touch the shooter can be changed without disturbing how the action is held.
Most chassis take AICS-pattern detachable magazines and carry M-LOK slots on the forend for bipods and accessories.
The inlet is machined for the Tikka T3x. Actions are not interchangeable between chassis – a different make, or a long action where the chassis is cut for a short one, will not drop in.
This one is cut for a long action. Long and short actions differ in receiver length to suit different cartridge families, and the chassis has to match the action you own.
It is inletted for a right-hand action. Bolt handedness is part of the machining, not an adjustment.
