The Moultrie Feeder Kit is a game feeder.
A feeder distributes bait or supplemental feed on a schedule, either by spinning it out or by gravity.
Baiting is regulated, and the rules differ by state, by county and by species – a feeder that is perfectly legal for hogs may not be legal for deer in the same field, and some states permit feeding outside the season but not during it. Check the current regulations where you hunt before you put one up.
Feed left standing gets wet and spoils, and concentrating animals at one point has disease implications that several states now legislate on.
