Description
The Nightstick USB-558XL is a 1100-lumen flashlight.
This sits in the sweet spot for defensive use: enough output to dominate a room or a yard, without the wash-back that very high output causes in tight spaces. Lumens describe total output rather than reach; a light with fewer lumens but tighter focus can throw further.
Onboard USB charging removes the need to buy cells, but means remembering to charge it. Check the runtime at the output you will actually use; headline lumen figures are usually quoted on a setting the light cannot sustain. Lights ship directly to you with no FFL transfer.
The USB-558XL USB Rechargeable Tactical Flashlight uses an LED rated at 1100 lumens on high for 2 hours but can be extended up to 22 hours in low mode (125 lumens). At only 5.9 inches long and weighing only 5.7 oz, this metal tactical flashlight is multi-functional, cycling between high, medium, and low modes. The built-in charging indicator turns from red to green when fully charged. Included is a 2 foot USB-C charging cable, lithium-ion rechargeable battery, and CR123 battery carrier (batteries not included) for added convenience.
