The Old Timer Mountain Beaver Jr. features a 2.50" 9Cr18MoV stainless blade, drop point, plain edge, wood handle.

The blade is 9Cr18MoV SS, a higher-carbon Chinese stainless that holds an edge noticeably longer than 8Cr13MoV while staying easy to maintain. Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.

At under two and a half inches this is a compact everyday carry knife: light in the pocket, unobtrusive, and legal to carry in more places than a larger blade.

Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 2.5" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it.
