The Pedersoli Sharps 1874 Boss is a falling block in .45-70 GOVERNMENT with a 34" barrel and a 1:18 twist.
A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes with yes sights.
