The Proof Research Elevation 2.0 is a bolt action in 25 Creedmoor with a 22" barrel and a 1:7.5 twist.
This is a left-hand action: the bolt handle and ejection port are on the left side, laid out for a left-handed shooter. A right-handed shooter would be reaching over the receiver to work the bolt. This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.
