The Honey Badger is Q's flagship platform: a compact, lightweight 300 Blackout firearm originally built for a top-tier military program to replace the MP5-SD. It was designed from the start around running a suppressor, and it redefined what a modern personal defense weapon could be.

NO SUPPRESSOR IS INCLUDED. The muzzle is threaded and the platform is built for suppressed use, but a silencer is a separate NFA item with its own Form 4 and its own approval wait – separate from the approval on the rifle itself.

The barrel is 7" stainless with a 1:5 twist. That is a very fast twist, and it is deliberate – it stabilizes the long, heavy subsonic bullets that 300 Blackout is loaded with for suppressed use, so the rifle shoots both subsonic and supersonic ammunition rather than favoring one. This configuration has Q's collapsing stock.

It ships with Q's cassette-style two-stage AR trigger, which is drop safe and has a short reset, and which fits any standard AR/M4 lower. The bolt carrier group is machined as two pieces rather than one: easier to strip and service, and it lets Q hold tighter tolerances in manufacture. The M-LOK handguard uses Q's turnbuckle attachment method so it comes off and back on for service without special tooling. The finish is a Type III Class A clear hard-coat anodize – undyed, which is why it tolerates suppressor heat.

This is an NFA item, so the process differs from an ordinary firearm purchase. It transfers on an ATF Form 4, which requires fingerprints, a photograph, notification to your chief law enforcement officer, and an ATF background check. Since 1 January 2026 the transfer tax on suppressors and short-barreled firearms is $0, though the registration and approval requirements are unchanged. You cannot take possession until ATF approves the transfer – the item stays with us until then. It can be registered to you as an individual or to a trust.
