The Rise Armament RA-100 is a trigger component.
The trigger controls sear release. Aftermarket triggers change pull weight, take-up, and how the break and reset feel.
A lighter trigger is not automatically better. Pull weight suits a purpose: competition and bench shooting go light, a carry or duty gun generally does not.
Trigger work is where a mistake matters most. If a trigger does not drop in cleanly, or the gun fails a function check afterwards, stop and take it to a gunsmith.
