The Rossi R95 is a lever action in .45-70 GOVERNMENT with a 22" barrel, a 1:12 twist and 6-round capacity.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor. It comes with adj drift front/adj buckhorn rear sights.
