RUG AM RFL RF 17HMR 9R S TB

Description

The Ruger / Sturm, Ruger & Co. American Rimfire LRT is a bolt action rifle in .17 HMR with an 18" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 9-round capacity.

Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes with accessory rail sights.

The .17 HMR is commonly chosen for small game and varmints at extended range. It shoots much flatter than .22 LR at the cost of ammunition price.
