The Safariland Saf 7378 Als is an outside-the-waistband holster for the Glock 21, right-hand.
Outside the waistband – the holster rides on the belt outside the trousers. It is quicker to draw from and to put on and take off, and it needs a covering garment to conceal.
This is the right-hand version. Handedness is not adjustable – a holster moulded for one side cannot be worn on the other, so check which you are ordering.
It uses active retention: a lock or strap that has to be released deliberately before the pistol will come out. That is slower than friction alone and is the point – it resists the pistol being taken or shaken loose.
Fitment is specific. It is cut for the Glock 21 and pistols of different dimensions will not seat correctly, even from the same maker – a holster that is close but not right is not safe to carry in.
