The J.P. Sauer & Sohn 100 Classic Xt is a bolt action in 7mm Remington Magnum with a 24.4" barrel and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight.

The 7mm Remington Magnum is commonly chosen for open-country hunting at extended range. Flat trajectory and substantial energy, with recoil to match.
