The J.P. Sauer & Sohn 100 Classic Xt is a bolt action in 6.5 PRC with a 22" barrel and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. It comes drilled & tapped, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.
The 6.5 PRC is commonly chosen for long-range hunting. It pushes 6.5mm bullets faster than Creedmoor, trading barrel life and recoil for reach.

Sauer's 100 Classic XT rifle raises the standard to a new level for entry-level rifles. It features an ERGO MAX shaft which is distinguished by the back-rising back and improves the position of the head behind the riflescope allows calmer aiming. The 100 Classic XT also has an adjustable trigger, three-position safety, cold hammer-forged original Sauer barrel, 60 degree shutter opening angle, neutral stock for right and left stop, and a double-row removable magazine. This model is chambered in 6.5 Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC).
