Description
The Savage 110 is a bolt action rifle in .300 AAC Blackout with a 16.5" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 10-round capacity.
At this length it is easier to work in thick cover or from a blind, trading some velocity for the handling. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.
The .300 AAC Blackout is commonly chosen for short-range work and suppressed shooting. It was designed to run subsonic loads well through a suppressor.
