Savage Arms 57943 110 Carbon Tactical 6.5 PRC 8+1 24″ Proof Research Carbon Fiber Wrapped Stainless Steel Barrel, Matte Black Carbon Steel Receiver, Synthetic Flat Dark Earth Adjustable AccuStock

Description

The Savage Arms 110 Carbon Tactical is a bolt action rifle in 6.5 PRC with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The 6.5 PRC is commonly chosen for long-range hunting and precision shooting. It pushes 6.5mm bullets faster than Creedmoor, trading barrel life and recoil for reach.

When the stakes are high, the versatile 110 Carbon Tactical performs. Offering uncompromised balance, the Savage rifle pairs together an exclusive PROOF Research stainless steel, carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a rigid AccuFit Stock with AccuStock, which secures the action three dimensionally along its entire length. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger, threaded barrel, 1-piece 20 MOA rail, 3 sling swivel studs and beavertail forend round out the added performance features of this model.
