Savage Arms 32460 110 Trailblazer XP 300 HAM’R 4+1 16.50″ Fluted Barrel, Flat Dark Gray Adj LOP Synthetic Stock, Right Hand

Description

The Savage Arms 110 Trailblazer is a bolt action rifle in .300 HAMR with a 16.5" barrel, a 1:12 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

At this length it is easier to work in thick cover or from a blind, trading some velocity for the handling. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.

A bolt action locks the cartridge up rigidly and repeatably, which is what makes it the accurate choice for hunting and target work – there is no gas system or reciprocating carrier moving while the shot breaks.
