Savage Arms 32556 110 Core Hunter 308 Win 4+1 20″ Fluted Barrel, Flat Dark Gray AccuStock w/AccuFit V2 Synthetic Stock, Left Hand

Description

The Savage 110 is a bolt action rifle in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 20" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 4-round capacity.

This is a left-hand action: the bolt handle and ejection port are on the left side, laid out for a left-handed shooter. This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.

This is a left-hand action: the bolt handle and ejection port are on the left side, laid out for a left-handed shooter. A right-handed shooter would be reaching over the receiver to work the bolt.
