The Savage Arms 110 Storm Full is a bolt action in .223 REM/5.56 NATO with a 22" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize.

The .223 REM is commonly chosen for varmints, predators and target work. Cheap, widely available and light on recoil, which makes it an easy cartridge to shoot well.

Savage's 110 Storm model delivers a customized fit required for consistent accuracy. It features Savage's AccuFit synthetic stock with five comb riser sizes for the perfect cheek-to-stock weld, four composite inserts to establish your unique length-of-pull, and AccuStock. The AccuStock consists of a rigid rail system firmly embedded in the stock throughout the foreend of the rifle. It also engages the action three dimensionally along its entire length.
