Savage Arms 57896 Impulse Mountain Hunter 300 WSM 2+1 24″ Carbon Fiber Threaded Barrel, Black Aluminum Receiver w/Picatinny Rail, Gray AccuStock Synthetic Stock, Ambidextrous

Description

The Savage Arms Impulse Mountain Hunter is a bolt action in .300 Winchester Short Magnum (WSM) with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 2-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .300 Winchester Short Magnum (WSM) is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
