Savage Arms 57898 Impulse Mountain Hunter 270 Win 4+1 22″ Carbon Fiber Threaded Barrel, Black Aluminum Receiver w/Picatinny Rail, Gray AccuStock Synthetic Stock, Ambidextrous

Description

The Savage Arms Impulse Mountain Hunter is a bolt action in .270 Winchester with a 22" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .270 Winchester is commonly chosen for deer, antelope and open-country hunting. A long-standing flat-shooting hunting cartridge.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.
