Savage Arms 57910 Impulse Driven Hunter 300 Win Mag 3+1 20″ Matte Black Threaded Barrel, Matte Black Carbon Steel Receiver w/Picatinny Rail, Gray AccuStock Synthetic Stock, Ambidextrous

Description

The Savage Arms Impulse Driven Hunter is a bolt action in .300 Winchester Magnum with a 20" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

The .300 Winchester Magnum is commonly chosen for elk, large game and long-range work. Significant energy at distance, and significant recoil with it.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

The Savage IMPULSE is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle that was specially designed to meet the demands of driven hunts. It combines the safety and accuracy of a traditional bolt-action rifle with a bolt-action speed close to that of a self-loading rifle. Specially designed for predators, hogs and driven hunts. With a shorter, lighter barrel, reduced overall weight and all the popular standard Savage Impulse features, such as adjustable AccuTrigger, adjustable AccuFit stock, integrated Picatinny mounting rail with 20 MOA forward tilt, muzzle thread and removable bolt handle for left-handed shooters.
