The Savage Arms Axis 2 Cpt is a bolt action in 6mm ARC with a 20" barrel, a 1:7.5 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.
