SAV B17FVSR 17HMR BA RFL 10RD

Description

The Savage B17 is a bolt action rifle in .17 HMR with a 16.25" barrel, a 1:9 twist and 10-round capacity.

Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes with adjustable sights.

The .17 HMR is commonly chosen for small game and varmints at extended range. It carries a rimfire out to roughly 200 yards with a very flat trajectory, though the light bullet is easily pushed by wind.
