Description
The Seekins Precision Havak is a bolt action rifle in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 16" barrel, a 1:11.25 twist and 3-round capacity plus one chambered.
At this length it is easier to work in thick cover or from a blind, trading some velocity for the handling. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize.
The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.
