Sig Sauer CROSS27720B Cross 277 Sig Fury 5+1 20″ Stainless Steel Barrel, Black Anodized Picatinny Rail Aluminum Receiver, M-LOK Handguard, Black Precision Adj Folding Stock

Description

The Sig Sauer Cross is a bolt action rifle in 277 Fury with a 20" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 5-round capacity.

This barrel length is the usual compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while still being manageable to carry all day, and short enough that a suppressor on the end does not make it unwieldy. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It comes optic ready, so it is ready to take an optic without extra machining.

A bolt action locks the cartridge up rigidly and repeatably, which is what makes it the accurate choice for hunting and target work – there is no gas system or reciprocating carrier moving while the shot breaks.

Designed and built from the ground up at the Sig Sauer research and development facilities in New Hampshire with the input of hunters, military snipers and elite long-range shooters, the Cross rifle was created to meet the demands of both precision long-range shooting and extreme backcountry hunting. Featuring lightest portable rifle in its class; folding Precision-Sty;e stock and one piece receiver for increased accuracy.
