Description
The Springfield Armory Hellcat is a semi-auto in .380 ACP with a 3" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 13-round capacity plus one chambered.
A barrel this short keeps the pistol easy to conceal and carry, at the cost of some velocity and a shorter sight radius. It comes with fiber optic front sights. The slide is cut for a red dot, so an optic mounts without machining. The optic and, on most models, a mounting plate are bought separately, and the plate has to match the footprint your optic uses.
The .380 ACP is commonly chosen for small carry pistols. Chambered in the most compact semi-autos, trading power for size.
