The Springfield Armory 2020 HEATSEEKER PISTOL is a bolt action in .308 / 7.62 NATO with a 12" barrel and 5-round capacity.

A carbine-length barrel keeps the pistol maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling.

The .308 is commonly chosen for hunting, target shooting and general use. Probably the most versatile centerfire cartridge available – ammunition is everywhere, and it handles most North American game.
