SPG PROD OPTIC PLATE KIT RMR

Description

The Springfield Armory SPG Prod Optic Plate is an optic adapter plate.

An optic adapter plate sits between the slide and the sight. It turns the cut machined into the slide into the footprint a particular optic uses, so a pistol cut for one standard can carry a sight built to another.

Both ends have to match, and they are separate questions. The underside has to suit your slide – makers each cut their own, among them Springfield AOS, Smith & Wesson C.O.R.E., Sig and the Glock MOS system – and the top has to be the footprint of your optic, such as a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Trijicon RMR or Shield RMSc. A plate that is right at one end and wrong at the other will not mount.

Screws are the detail that catches people out: they are specific to the optic rather than the plate, and whether any are in the box varies by maker. Check before ordering so you are not waiting on hardware.
