Description
The Springfield Armory Echelon is a semi-auto pistol in 9mm with a 4″ barrel, a 1:10 twist and 18-round capacity plus one chambered.
A barrel this length favors concealment and carry – easier to hide and lighter to wear, in exchange for a shorter sight radius and more felt recoil than a longer barrel in the same chambering. It comes with a lum front sight and a tact. rack u-dot rear sight. The slide is cut for a red dot, so an optic mounts without machining. The optic and, on most models, a mounting plate are bought separately, and the plate has to match the footprint your optic uses.
The 9mm is commonly chosen for range practice, competition and defense. The most widely available centerfire handgun round, which keeps practice affordable and ammunition easy to find.
Please note this item cannot be shipped directly to California and the US Virgin Islands. Restrictions come from the manufacturer or distributor and are applied automatically at checkout, so check before ordering if you are in one of those states.
