The blade is N690Co SS, an Austrian cobalt-alloyed stainless that holds an edge well and resists corrosion. FRN keeps the weight and the price down while staying tough and textured in hand.
Around three inches is the everyday carry sweet spot – long enough for boxes, cord, food prep and general utility, short enough to disappear in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 2.61" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it.
