The combination edge gives you a plain section for controlled slicing and a serrated section for rope and webbing, at the cost of less of each than a dedicated edge would offer. G-10 is a fiberglass laminate: light, dimensionally stable, and grippy even wet.
Knife carry laws are set locally as well as by state – check your state and city rules before you carry. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.
