The blade is 440C SS, a classic American stainless that resists corrosion strongly and sharpens readily, with moderate edge retention. Stainless scales are durable and easy to clean, though heavier than polymer.
A blade in this range handles heavier everyday tasks and light outdoor work while still carrying comfortably clipped in a pocket.
Carry laws are set locally as well as by state, and a 3.75" blade is legal to carry in many places and not in others – check your state and city rules before you carry it. Knives ship directly to you with no FFL transfer and no background check, unlike a firearm.
