The Streamlight X Sub Usb is a 500-lumen weapon light with a universal rail mount.
This is a practical everyday output – bright enough to identify a threat or search a room without blinding you off nearby walls indoors. Peak intensity is quoted at 0 candela, which is the figure that actually determines how far the beam throws – lumens tell you total output, candela tell you reach.
Onboard USB charging removes the need to buy cells, but means remembering to charge it. Confirm it fits your rail and that you can reach the switch with your normal firing grip before committing to it – a light you cannot activate under stress is worse than no light. Lights ship directly to you with no FFL transfer.
The TLR-7 X sub features multi-fuel battery capability powered by either one (1) CR123A or one (1)Streamlight SL-B9 lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack, both delivering 500 lumens and 5,000 candela. The integrated rail clamp is designed to rapidly attach/detach from the side of the weapon, providing smooth installation and removal without having to put your hands in front of the muzzle. The specialized clamp system allows for mounting on 1913 short railed subcompact handguns including: the Smith & Wesson M&PM2.0 subcompact, Beretta Px4 Storm subcompact, Springfield Armory XD-E, XD-S and Hellcat Pro, Heckler & Koch HK45 compact, and SIG SAUER P365 XMACRO.
