Description
The Surefire Everyday Carry Light is a 650-lumen flashlight.
This is a practical everyday output – bright enough to identify a threat or search a room without blinding you off nearby walls indoors. Peak intensity is quoted at 0 candela, which is the figure that actually determines how far the beam throws – lumens tell you total output, candela tell you reach.
It is rechargeable, which lowers running costs but means it needs charging on a schedule rather than being left in a drawer. Check the runtime at the output you will actually use; headline lumen figures are usually quoted on a setting the light cannot sustain. Lights ship directly to you with no FFL transfer.
Turbocharge Your Low-Light Vision. SureFire's Everyday Carry Series punches deep into darkness with the EDC1-DFT, a Dual Fuel, high-candela handheld flashlight that delivers impressive beam designed explicitly for long-distance illumination in a remarkably compact form factor. With a blinding, peak beam intensity of 95,000 candela using the included SF18350 rechargeable lithium-ion battery or 55,000 candela from a single 123A primary battery, the EDC1-DFT's concentrated, tightly focused beam pattern allows you to see farther into the darkness and positively identify any potential threat. In addition, it offers tremendous versatility by providing ample spill light to help the user maintain situational awareness. Constructed of lightweight aerospace aluminum, Mil-Spec hard-anodized, and O-ring sealed to keep out the elements, the body and tailcap are also knurled for a secure grip. A sturdy, two-way clip offers the added flexibility of bezel-up or bevel-down carry. The EDC1-DFT delivers SureFire quality, performance, and dependability in an everyday carry flashlight that provides peace of mind by helping you see farther into the unknown.
