S&W 1854 44M 19.25B WALNUT

Description

The Smith & Wesson / S&W 1854 is a lever action rifle in .44 Magnum with a 19.25" barrel, a 1:20 twist and 9-round capacity.

This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles. It comes with gold bead front/adj rear sights.

The .44 Magnum is commonly chosen for handgun hunting and large game defense. Heavy recoil.
