Description

The Smith & Wesson / S&W 1854 is a lever action in .357 MAGNUM with a 16.3" barrel, a 1:14 twist and 8-round capacity.

A carbine-length barrel keeps the rifle maneuverable, trading some velocity for handling. That is slower than the usual twist for this cartridge, so it favors lighter bullets; very heavy projectiles may not stabilize. It comes with hiviz h3 front/xs adj ghost ring rear sights.

The .357 MAGNUM is commonly chosen for revolver shooting, hunting and defense. Substantial power and muzzle blast; most revolvers chambered for it will also fire lighter .38 Special.
