The Smith & Wesson / S&W 648 is a double action/single action in .22 WMR with a 6" barrel and 8-round capacity.

Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. It comes with patridge front/adj rear sights.
