Description

The Smith & Wesson / S&W M&P is a semi-auto in .22 WMR with a 4.35" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 30-round capacity.

Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. It comes with fiber optic front sight. The slide is cut for a red dot, so an optic mounts without machining. The optic and, on most models, a mounting plate are bought separately, and the plate has to match the footprint your optic uses.

The .22 WMR is commonly chosen for small game and varmints. It bridges the gap between .22 LR and a centerfire varmint round.
