Description

The Smith & Wesson / S&W M&P M2.0 is a semi-auto pistol in 9mm with a 4.25" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 17-round capacity.

This is a full-size handgun barrel length – more velocity and a longer sight radius than a compact, in exchange for size. It comes with night sights. The slide is cut for a red dot on the Aimpoint Acro footprint, so an optic mounts without machining. The optic itself is bought separately, and it needs to match that footprint or use a plate that adapts to it.

The 9mm is commonly chosen for range practice, competition and carry. The most widely available centerfire handgun round, which keeps practice affordable and ammunition easy to find.
