Description

The Tikka T3X is a bolt action in .243 Winchester with a 23.7" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is faster than the usual twist for this cartridge, which suits the heavier, longer bullets distance shooters tend to favor.
