The TIPPMANN ARMS M4-22 is a semi-auto in .22 LR with a 7" barrel and 25-round capacity.

Rimfire velocity peaks in the high teens of barrel length, so a barrel this short gives up very little and keeps the rifle light and quick to handle. It comes with front/rear flip sights.

The .22 LR is commonly chosen for small game, training and high-volume practice. Ammunition is cheap enough to shoot all day, which is why it remains the standard first rifle and the standard practice rifle.
