Description
The Trijicon Credo is a 1-10x riflescope with a 28mm objective. The reticle is in the first focal plane.
A range starting at 1x can be shot with both eyes open at close range, like a red dot, and zoomed to 10x when a target needs identifying or reaching. That versatility is why this class is common on general-purpose rifles.
First focal plane: the reticle grows and shrinks with the magnification, so its subtensions – the hash marks used to hold for wind and drop – measure the same at every power. The trade is a reticle that can look fine at low power and coarse at high.
The 28mm objective sets how much light the scope can gather and how tall the rings need to be to clear the bell.
Eye relief is listed at 3.20" – 3.90" – the distance the eye sits behind the ocular to see the full picture, which is what has to be respected when positioning the scope in the rings.
