Description
The Warne Vapor Rug Amer Rimfire is a scope base.
A base is what turns a drilled and tapped receiver into something a ring or a rail can clamp to, so it is cut for one action – a base for a Remington 700 short action does not fit a long action.
One-piece bases are stiffer and keep alignment; two-piece bases weigh less and leave the ejection port clear. A base with built-in MOA elevation buys back scope adjustment at long range.
Fitment is the whole purchase here. Check the figure in the listing against what you actually own before ordering.
