The Weatherby 307 Alpine Mdt ! is a bolt action in .270 Weatherby Magnum with a 26" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 3-round capacity.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with. It ships without iron sights, so budget for an optic, rings and a base if you do not already have them.

The .270 Weatherby Magnum is commonly chosen for deer, antelope and open-country hunting. A long-standing flat-shooting hunting cartridge.
