The Weatherby 307 Range Xp2 – is a bolt action in 25 WBY RPM with a 22" barrel, a 1:7.5 twist and 5-round capacity plus one chambered.
This barrel length is a common compromise: enough to develop most of the cartridge's velocity while staying manageable to carry. Twist rate determines which bullet weights stabilize: a faster twist favors heavier, longer projectiles.
