Description

The Weatherby Mark V Backcntry TI2 is a bolt action in 338 WBY RPM with a 24" barrel, a 1:10 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

This is a left-hand action: the bolt handle and ejection port are on the left side, laid out for a left-handed shooter. A right-handed shooter would be reaching over the receiver to work the bolt. A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.
