Weatherby MWL01N65RWR6B Mark V Weathermark LT 6.5 Wthby RPM 4+1 24″ Barrel/Rec. w/Flat Dark Earth Cerakote Finish, Flat Dark Earth Speckled Green Fixed Monte Carlo Fiberglass Stock

Description

The Weatherby Mark V Weathermark Lt is a bolt action in 6.5 Weatherby RPM with a 24" barrel, a 1:8 twist and 4-round capacity plus one chambered.

A long barrel gives the cartridge room to build velocity, at the cost of handling in tight spaces and some added weight. That is the standard twist for this cartridge, and it stabilizes the bullet weights most factory ammunition is loaded with.

Bolt actions are commonly chosen for hunting and target shooting, where the simpler mechanism and rigid lockup are valued.

This is a serialized firearm. It ships to a licensed dealer near you rather than to your door, and you complete the transfer there with a Form 4473 and a background check. State and local rules govern what can be shipped where, so check yours before ordering – and if you are unsure, ask us first.

SUB-MOA accuracy and durable performance finish, this rifle is home in any backcountry situation. The #1 contour fluted barrel cuts precious pounds for backpack trips. The hand-laid fiberglass Monte Carlo stock with aluminum bedding blocks gives this rifle a strong foundation to make the cross-canyon shots when the opportunity presents itself. The spiral fluted bolt body aides in the reduction of weight and the Cerakote finish on all metalwork guarantees a life of rugged dependability.
